We highlight Wampanoag contemporary voices, culture, and history through educational and community engagement throughout the Cape Cod region. We raise awareness of the ways that environmental harm and lack of equity emanate from the same sources. We and the land are one thing.

Wellfleet as Indian Country

Acknowledging Continuing Wampanoag Presence on Cape Cod

Wellfleet Historical Society

Exhibit introduced Delilah Gibbs, a Wampanoag woman from the Wellfleet area. She was an herbal medicine healer who learned her knowledge of plants and the land following many generations of her family, in the tradition of her Wampanoag ancestors. We honor her with the name of our collective.
